Have you seen water being wasted?

Hello there! The idea of reading long #Save water articles seems boring, isn’t it? But don’t you think it’s important for us to address water problems when more than 40% population of earth can’t enjoy the same cold shower which kick starts our day. So, here is a super short way for you. Analyse these four day-to-day scenarios which all of us face and then decide what is to be done.

1.  We all look stunning, don’t we? It’s just that we realize it while we pout, scowl, wink or display our strangely dazzling teeth in front of the mirror. What we miss is the sound of plopping water while we are busy brushing, cleaning or god knows doing any xyz thing in the sink. This  bit of negligence leads to aqua loss at an astonishing rate of 6 litres/min.

  2.  Post eating a finger-lickingly scrumptious meal, what’s left is some soiled dishes to wash. This herculean task can be made simple by chucking all the dishes into the dishwasher despite it operating at full capacity. Abracadabra! Within minutes spotless and sparkling utensils come out. Sorry! But that does not work that way. Any dishwasher takes a minimum of 45 minutes to clean and uses up to 50 litres of water irrespective of the load being complete or not.

3.How often do we notice droplets of water originating from a tap and going down the drain? Come on! Exercise your brains. It happens almost every day, doesn’t it? Let me tell you why. It happens simply because all of us are in a hurry most of the time and find it too difficult to twist the knobs.

   4.  A shower relieves us of exhaustion and charges our spirit with new enthusiasm. How long should this rejuvenation process take place? Well ethically it shouldn’t be more than a couple of minutes but on average most people cherish a duration of 20 minutes. They’re worried about Rio and Tokyo being able to make it together to the end in the popular serial Money heist, I mean busy rosy dreaming. Now these rosy dreams cost their water tanks roughly 130 litres of water.

These were some of the most common incidents in our life, besides this there are infinite more such situations like a nice tub bath, usage of recreational water toys, accidental spilling or wasting some water taken in a glass. According to Worldometer the amount of water being widrawn per year is rising by multiple folds. With new types of bathroom fittings flooding the market, water which is changing from a necessity to a privilege. Unfortunately, this privilege is becoming more limited these days. The very well known prediction of the WW3 being fought over water scarcity provided concrete evidence for this fact. Now all I want to say is that we should become a bit more responsible try to bring small changes. For that here are some innovative tips:-
